Slime Just Landed in Washington D.C.
Looking for things to do in Washington D.C. with the kids that aren't another museum trip? Sloomoo Institute just opened at Tysons Corner Center, and it's nothing like the rest of the family activity rotation.
Here's what's inside: 500+ gallons of handmade slime in every texture, a DIY Bar where kids design custom slime from 4M+ combos, 13+ #satisfying slimescapes to play through, and Sloomoo Falls (yes, you can actually get slimed). Hands-on, sensory-led, completely screen-free. A new go-to for families across DC, Tysons, and Northern Virginia.

More Than Museums: Things to Do in DC with Kids
Inside Sloomoo Washington D.C., kids design slime from 8 textures, 60 scents, 40 colors, and 120 charms (over 4 million combinations, in case you're wondering how long they'll spend at the DIY Bar). They walk on Lake Sloomoo, slingshot slime at willing targets, smush handfuls onto the Sloomoo & Repeat Wall, and step into LooMoosh's Magnificent Slime Mold to learn about a single-celled organism that isn't actually slime or mold.
It's the kind of afternoon that earns you weeks of "remember when we went to Sloomoo?" energy. A hands-on alternative to the usual family things to do in Washington D.C., and a memorable break from the museum loop.
